You cant see the ground in new VR as boats are not transparent anymore in full zoom. Another thing that sucks in new VR and not in SOL is passing by ground. You are able to see all participants as to an open see race, besides the main strategy, you absolutely need to know/see your opponents in order to adjust your race accordingly.
